Hugs and Kisses

Hugs and Kisses

I’ve been wanting to do a design that can easily be made any size for a while now. I really liked this idea, and since it looks like X’s and O’s to me, I’ve named the design Hugs and Kisses.

This can be expanded to make placemats, a shawl, or anything else rectangular. I like the idea of using it as a tatted fabric when sewing accessories. It would be especially pretty if tatted in white with pearl beads added to the joins.

I used Lizbeth Twirlz Candy Hearts Color 401 and Lizbeth Twirlz Midnight Mist Color 407 in Size 20. The design as shown is approximately 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) square.

Continue to make “x” Medallions and “O” Medallions, joining each edge in the same locations as instructed above. This picture shows the general idea.
