Level: Experienced beginner
I thought I’d challenge myself by designing a circle within a square. It was a real design challenge, but it’s reasonably easy to stitch up.
The heart-shaped rings are easy to do, but they can be hard to close. I suggest you use a larger-sized thread, and that you tat a little more loosely than normal.
This pattern uses one tatting shuttle and is an experienced beginner pattern (because of the heart-shaped rings). It is about 2 inches square (6 cm) when done with size 20 thread.
