Tatted Moustache

Tatted Moustache

Last month my youngest son got married, which required a road trip across Wyoming. A week later, I found myself on another unexpected trip across Wyoming. This time, we rode with my other son and his wife (the ones who got married last year). Since Bruce gets car sick in the back seat, I sat in the back with my daughter-in-law.

I learned a lot about her on that trip. One thing I learned is that she has a very creative mind. I told her I often had trouble coming up with ideas for my monthly pattern, and she started listing off all sorts of ideas! I think I got them all written down.

One of her ideas was a moustache. I never would have thought of such a thing, but the longer I thought about it, the more fun it sounded. So here it is…this month’s pattern is a tatted moustache!

This is a beginner pattern. It is about 3 inches (8 cm) wide when done with size 10 thread.

I used Lizbeth Linen Medium Color 693 in size 10.
