A few weeks ago, my friend handed me these hoop earrings and challenged me to put something tatted in them. I thought it would be an easy design to put together, but I was fooled! It was a little more of a challenge than I anticipated because I needed to get the tatting just the right size to fit in the space. It took a couple of tries, but I did it.
I’m really pleased with this design. It’s easy (now that it’s designed) and fast. This is a great idea for a Christmas, Hanukkah or other holiday gift! You can dress it up by using variegated threads or adding beads, too.
This pattern is beginner level and uses one shuttle.
