Mom’s Pink Doily

Mom’s Pink Doily

This doily was a gift for my mother, and my first attempt at designing a doily. I entered it in the local county fair in 1997 and won the Champion ribbon! I was a nervous wreck during the judging, but the reward was definitely worth it.

I used DMC perle cotton, size 12, color 224–a very pretty dusty rose. It’s about 9 inches in diameter.
