Cupcake 2 Pattern

Back when I sent out my first cupcake design, someone emailed me with a request to make a cupcake that wasn’t flattened on top. I guess when I make cupcakes, I have a tendency to push the cherry down instead of letting it sit on top. LOL!

So almost a year later, here’s another cupcake with a rounded top. I do like it much better, but I think it would be fun to make a bunch of both “flavors”.

This is a beginner pattern and requires one shuttle. It is about 3.25 inches wide (8 cm) by 3 inches tall (7 cm) when done with size 40 thread.

I used Lizbeth size 40 thread in color 613 Golden Yellow Medium, color 158 Niagara Falls, and color 671 Christmas Red.
