I call this one my camp doily, although it’s actually called the Starlight Doily. A few years ago, my extended family had a reunion at Bear Lake in northern Utah. We had a great time; I got to get re-acquainted with some of my cousins, and I got next to nothing done on this doily. I learned while I was on this trip that for me, camping and tatting don’t mix . I like my thread to stay much cleaner than it does when you’re camping. I finished this doily later at home.
The pattern is in The Tatter’s Treasure Chest, edited by Mary Carolyn Waldrep.
